AquaGlow Floating Candles

They said
no open flame.
So take the loophole.

Real candlelight, floating on water. No wax. No smoke. No one telling you to blow it out before bed.

Drop in water. Room changes. Done.

Lights out

This is the whole pitch.

Sound off. Nothing to hear. Everything to see.
The problem

You never stopped wanting candlelight. You just kept getting told no.

No by the toddler. No by the cat. No by the landlord, the venue coordinator, the smoke alarm, the patio wind, the brass bowl you'd never risk ruining with wax.

Every one of those noes is about fire. Not about light.

AquaGlow removes the fire and keeps the light. Same warm amber. Same slow drift across a bowl of water. Nothing to supervise, nothing to scrub off, nothing to apologise for at 2am.

On water

Level. Every single one.

Weighted base. No listing, no capsizing.
Why these, not the cheap ones

Four things the knockoffs can't fake.

No hotspotYou can't see the bulb.

Cheap units glare — one hard point of light punching through thin plastic. AquaGlow diffuses the emitter behind a frosted, tapered flame tip, so the glow reads as volume, not as a bulb. That detail is the whole difference between candle and keychain torch.

Self-righting hullIt floats upright. Always.

A wide, weighted disc base drops the centre of gravity below the waterline. Nudge the bowl, walk past, let the kids poke it — they rock and settle back level instead of tipping face-down and going dark mid-dinner.

Flicker, not blinkIt breathes like a real wick.

Bad LEDs strobe on a loop you notice within ten seconds. AquaGlow moves on a soft, irregular rhythm at true candle temperature — the warm end of amber, never blue-white. From across a room, nobody clocks it as electric.

Matched batchThe set glows as one.

The fastest way to spot a cheap order: one candle running hot white, another sulking dim yellow. Ours are brightness- and colour-matched across the set, so a full bowl reads as a single body of light instead of a mismatched crowd.

In the wild

Two rooms. Same trick.

Festive urli, marigolds, zero wax

Setup

Four seconds from plain bowl to the thing everyone photographs.

STEP 01Pull the tab.

Battery's already in. Slide out the insulation strip and it wakes up.

STEP 02Fill with water.

Any bowl, urli, vase, coupe glass or tray. Two inches is plenty.

STEP 03Drop them in.

They find their level and start drifting. Walk away. Kill the overheads.

Straight answers

Ask the awkward ones. Go on.

No. The shell is sealed at the base seam with no exposed ports on the top face — that's the entire reason this product exists. They sit in standing water all evening and come out dry. What they aren't is submarines: don't push them under, and don't run them through a dishwasher.

Fair question, and it's the one we built the product around. Matte wax-finish shell instead of gloss. A tapered flame tip instead of a blunt dome. Diffused amber with no visible bulb. Guests lean in to check — that's the reaction we designed for.

Comfortably longer than any dinner, reception or festival night you're planning. Cells are standard replaceable coin batteries in a serviceable base, so when one fades you swap it and carry on. These come back out every year — they don't go in the bin after one party.

No. Water is the showpiece, not the requirement. They sit perfectly well on a dry mantel, inside glass votives, along a table runner, tucked into a lantern, or scattered across a tray. Floating is a feature you can use, not a rule you're stuck with.

Flicker and blink are two different things. Blink is a hard on-off loop you notice immediately and can't unsee. Ours is a soft, uneven breathing motion in warm amber, tuned to real wick behaviour. On water the reflection breaks it up further and it stops reading as electric.

That's the whole point. No flame, no heat, no smoke, no wax, no soot, no melted mess on brass or linen. Nothing to trigger an alarm, nothing that breaks a no-open-flame clause. Knock one over and the worst outcome is a wet table.

Orders are picked and dispatched from ready stock, with tracking sent the moment your parcel leaves. If you're buying for a fixed date — a festival, a wedding, an anniversary — order with a few days of buffer rather than cutting it fine.

Message us with your order number and we sort it. A set that glows as one is the entire promise here, so a unit that doesn't pull its weight is our problem to fix, not yours to live with.
